Josephine Jo Goral

Josephine “Jo” Goral 96 of Rockford passed away Monday December 8, 2014 in Presence St. Anne Center. She was born August 10, 1918 in Rockford, the daughter of Celso and Erminia Cagnoni. She married John E. Goral in St James Church, Rockford, on June 14, 1941. He predeceased her on March 26, 1996. Member of St Bernadette Church, Verdi Club, Catholic Women’s League, St Bernadette Senior Group and St Anne Auxiliary.
Survivors include her children, Marie Borchardt and Patricia (Hugh) Ganske. Grandchildren, Jeff (Jane) Borchardt and Brian (Lori) Borchardt, Brad Ganske and Joey (Laura) Ganske. Great grandchildren, Maddie, Sydney and Carter Borchardt and Braden Borchardt. Sister, Sister Marie Cagnoni OP and Vivian Borkus. Predeceased by her parents, Husband John, Son-in-law Dale Borchardt and Brother in Law Edward Borkus.
Funeral Mass at 10am Saturday December 13, 2014 in St James Church, Rockford with Father David Beauvais officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 9am until mass time, Saturday in the church.
