Johnny Nemecio Nolasco

Johnny Nemecio Nolasco, 57, of Cherry Valley passed away August 31, 2021 following a two week coma due to a tragic motorcycle accident. He was born on November 10, 1963 to Emiliano and Guadalupe (Sanchez) Nolasco. Johnny was loved by many and will never be forgotten. He was the rock of our family and was always there to help with any problems that arose. Johnny was a hard worker and loved knowing his family was his best legacy. He and his wife, Amy, met in 1992 where it was love at first sight. They married in 1999 and have been together ever since. Johnny has 11 children, two of whom have passed away, Michael Nolasco 1989-2019 and Alexandra Nolasco 1998.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 21 years, Amy; his children, Johnathan (Amanda), Angelica, Andrew, Gabriella, Regina, Samantha, Johnny Jr., Max and Liam Nolasco; his grandchildren, Arianah Nolasco, Airielh Nolasco, Shae’la Smith, AJ King, Marlie Nolasco and Kane Nolasco; his siblings, Maria Nolasco and Emiliano Nolasco Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he cherished.

Visitation for Johnny will take place on Sunday, September 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108. Mask will be required for visitation. Cremations rights will be accorded and there will be a private family burial at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory.
