John R. Nethery

John Russell Nethery, 94, of Flagler Beach passed away on March 21, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 8, 1919 in Gratiot, Wisconsin to the late Harry and Bernice Nethery (Russell). As a young man he served in the US Army during WWII. He moved to the Flagler Beach area from Rockford, IL in 1987. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Nethery; sisters, Winifred and her husband Roy Swanson, Eunice and her husband Thomas Doyle and brother-in-law, Donald Johnson. Survivors include his brothers, George and his wife Roberta Nethery of Ormond Beach, Robert and his wife Jackie Nethery of CA; sisters, Dorothy Johnson of Rockford, IL, Shirley Nethery of Flagler Beach; sister-in-law, Marlys Nethery; numerous loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Funeral service Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside chapel 3910 N.
