John M. Sandrik

John M. Sandrik, 88 of Rockford, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in his home. Born, December 26, 1919 in Chicago, son of Stephen and Zuzanna (Kmet) Sandrik. Served in the United States Army during WWII. Married his loving wife Eleanor Zima. Worked as an Engineer for Rockwell International, retiring in 1982. Belonged to the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion and enjoyed wood working. Survived by his wife of Rockford; sons, John (Barbara) of Milwaukee, WI and Joel Stephen (Donna) of Brooklyn, MI; daughter, Bonnie Lynn of Hawaii; grandchildren, Michael, Timothy, Suzannah and Jeremy and great grandson, Isaac John.nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Stephen and sister, Olga Mala.
