John Henry Limberg, Jr.

John Henry Limberg, Jr., 85, Rockford, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024. He was born June 10, 1938, in Rockford, the son of John Henry and Mildred (Termondt) Limberg, Sr. John was a veteran serving in the Navy from 1956 through 1959. He married Christine Matysik on February 14, 1981. She passed away on November 18, 2023. He was a car salesman in the Rockford area for many years until his retirement from Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet.

Survived by his children; Andrew Limberg, Michele Nelson, Nadeen Leopold, Robert, Charles, and Donald Limberg; many grandchildren; his sisters, Linda Limberg, Debbie (Wayne) Strang and Cindy Limberg; his niece, Kelley (Carl) Smith; his stepson, Peter Matysik and his sister-in-law, Pat Limberg. Predeceased by his parents, his wife, Christine and his brother, Michael Limberg.
