John E. Folgate

John E. Folgate, 60, of Rockford, passed away Monday, August 27, 2018, peacefully surrounded by family. Born January 4, 1958 in Rockford; he was the son of Homer Emmitt and Letty Rae (Huber) Folgate Jr.
He attended Second Congregational Church in Rockford.
John enjoyed reading, eating and collecting things of value to him.
Everyone who knew John, loved him. He touched so many lives and made people smile.
Survivors include his siblings, Randall (Michelle) and Jill Folgate; niece and nephews, Laura Mambourg, Neil, Erik, Noah and Trevor Folgate; and a devoted cousin, Lynn (Ray) Frame.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
