John A. Moran, Jr.

John A Moran, Jr., 64, of Lake Summerset, passed away on Saturday June 9, 2007, in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center from complications of a stroke. Born January 7, 1943 in Chicago, the son of John and Mary (Rodick) Moran. John lived in Glenview, Rockford and Lake Summerset. Married Kathleen Fredrick in Chicago, on October 3, 1964. Retired from Eaton Corporation as a Production Manager after almost 40 years. John was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Durand / St. Patrick Catholic Church in Irish Grove. Survivors include his wife Kathleen, sons John Jack (Danielle), and Michael (Susan), daughters Patricia (John Curt) Russ, Susan (Sam) Knaack, and Katherine (Michael) Gehle, mother Mary Moran, brother Ronald (Nancy), and sister Carol (Robert) Gresens, grandchildren Lucas, Ashley, Keeley, Alex, Nicholas, Matthew, Cristina, Will, Casey and Patrick. Predeceased by his father, John Moran, Sr., sister Ruth Maloney, and grandson Dane Gehle. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday June 13, 2007, at St. Mary Catholic Church 606 Main Street Durand , with Reverend Michael Miles St. John Ukranian Catholic Church, Belfield, ND officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-9PM, Tuesday June 12, 2007 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Burial will be private.
