Joanne M. Latino

JoAnne M. Latino, 81, Rockford, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018, at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born December 9, 1936, in Rockford, the daughter of Joseph and Genevieve (Greco) Latino. She was a graduate of Rockford West High School. JoAnne was a clerical supervisor in the Radiology department at Rockford Memorial Hospital for 39 years. She was a member of the North Suburban Woman’s Club and a longtime supporter and advocate for the education of those with disabilities.
She is survived by her sister, Carrole Banks and her niece, Amy (Melissa Miller) Banks. Predeceased by her parents and her brother, Carl “Skip” Latino.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at Fityzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, with Reverend Dr. Joe Marek officiating.
