Joanne Elizabeth Riske

Joanne Elizabeth Riske, 81, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday November 30, 2010 in SwedishAmerican Hospital. She was born December 3, 1928 in Zion, IL; the daughter of Henry and Bessie Albrecht. She worked for American Republic Insurance for over 25 years. Member of Alpine Lutheran Church and the Alliance for the Menatally Ill, for which Joanne was a strong advocate. Survivors include her sons, Craig (Donna) Riske of Cherry Valley, Alan Riske of Rockford; sisters, Jane (Dr. Robert) Maves of Door County and Paulene Huffman of California; nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; son,Brian; brother, Beckum Albrecht and sister, Beatrice Albrecht. Funeral Services will be at 10:00am Saturday December 4, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation from 9am until 9:45 Saturday in the funeral home. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Zion, IL.
