Joan Wrede of Rockford, died Friday, April 11, 2008 at SwedishAmerican Hospital. Daughter of Cecil and Lura (Babb) Haley. Married her loving husband James Jim Wrede. Retired after 30 years from Chrysler Automotive as an assembler. Belonged to United Auto Workers 1268. Survivors include her husband, Jim; son, Steve (Candy) Jones; daughters, Kimberly (Gordon) Schaefer, Nicole (Martin) Adams; grandchildren, Andrea, Patrick, Stephanie, Haley, Britton, Isabella, Gary and Tonya; great grandson, Lucius Biff; sisters, Pat Adams and Dean Fowler and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Victor and Jerry Haley and Bill Adams and sister, Micki Latino. Funeral service Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd., with Rev. Steven Doyle of Calvary Christian Church officiating. Interment to be private. Visitation Tuesday, April 15 from 6-9 p.m., continuing Wednesday from 10 -10:45 a.m in the funeral home. Memorial to the family for a fund to be established at a later date.
