Joan Satterlee

Joan Satterlee, 76, of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was born on January 22, 1940, the daughter of John and Ora (Bend) Hanouw. Joan was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing. Most importantly, she was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family brought her the most joy, and she will be greatly missed by many.
She is survived by her husband, Philip Satterlee; her children, Jim(Dawn) Satterlee, and Sharon(Gary) Robb; her grandchildren; Jake Rohloff, Sam(Paige) Rohloff, Ryan(Lindsey) Satterlee, Chelsea (A.J.) LeDoux, Brianna Robb, Ethan Robb, and Casey Robb; her brothers Orrin(Nancy) Hanouw, and Duane(Janene) Hoadley; and her sister Florence(Paul) Satterlee. She is predeceased by her parents, daughter Jacqueline Rohloff, and brother, Randy Hoadley.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Inurnment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Center appreciated.
