Jill Fox Thoren, 73
Rockford, Jill Fox Thoren, 73, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Rockford Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born September 1, 1942 in Rockford, the daughter of Walter & Dorothy (Hanson) Fox. Graduated from Rockford East High School. Jill own and operated Homestead Antiques for more than forty five years. She also served as an election judge for twenty five years. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, collecting antiques and buttons, but most of all spending time with her family and six grandchildren.
Survivors include son Tony (Julie) Thoren; daughter Tammy Tassoni; grandchildren Nicholas, Sabrina, Cole, Connor, Spencer and Jake.
