Jessica L. Williams

Jessica Lynn Williams, 35, of Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 14, 2021.

Jessica was born to Julie Belt in Rockford, IL on June 7, 1985. She graduated from Harlem High School, Class of 2003. Jessica married Doug L. Williams in Ottowa, IL on June 8, 2012. She was a devoted wife and loving mother to her children. Taking care of her home and her babies meant everything to her. Before having her children, Jessica worked at the Goldie B. Floberg Center as well as Jim’s Formal Wear, where she worked her way up to Supervisor. She was very dedicated to everything she did in life. Jessica shared a very special bond with her mother, and deeply loved her entire family. She enjoyed swimming, singing, dancing and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jessica touched the lives of so many, by whom she will be dearly missed.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Doug Williams; children, Kaydence and Ryden Williams; mother, Julie Belt; father, Matthew (Sheila) Belt; sister, Nikole (Joel) Johnson and brother, Steven Belt; grandparents, Gene “Pop” and Phyllis “Nana” Hoenecke and Marian Barczy; nieces and nephews, Summer, Ethan, Scarlett, Gage, Addisyn, Emmett, Trevor, Jocelyn and Elliot; close family friend, Michelle Foutch; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends; parents-in-law, Robert (Pamela) Williams; brothers-in-law, Alan, Robert and Chris Williams; grandmother-in-law, Beverly Williams and her beloved dog, Psycho. Jessica is predeceased by her brother, Keith Belt and cousin, Kevin Deacon.

A walk-through visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61103. A private family funeral service will be held. Those attending services must wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines. Final resting place will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Rockford, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Jessica Williams.
