Jessica A. Coates

Jessica Annette Coates, 29, of Rockford went to be with the LORD on June 15, 2017 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on February 20, 1988 in Danville, Illinois, the daughter of Wendell and Jestine Coates, and sister to Kendell Coates.

Jessica graduated from Auburn High School and North Central College and worked at Applications Research Corporation where she was loved by her work family. Jessica leaves to cherish abundant memories her mother and father; brother and sister-in-law Kendell and Dana Coates; aunts and uncles Dr. Aaron and Dr. LaKimerly Coates and George (Buzzy) and Gwen Coates; cousins Morgan Coates, Cameron Coates, Jordan Coates, Kalin Coates and Genae Coates; godmother Cindy Stanford; special brother Jeremie Bell; special aunt Patricia Powers; loving mentors Rev. Chester L. and Doris Baker; best friend Sara Wright and beloved pet dog Phoebe.

Visitation service will be held at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. in Rockford, Illinois on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial immediately following the visitation at Scandinavian Cemetery, 1700 Rural St. in Rockford, Illinois.
