Jerry Lee Jordan

Jerry Lee Jordan, 55, of Rockford passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 23, 1962 in Augsburg, Germany to Charles and Jean (Caldwell) Jordan.
He was an alumnus of Auburn High School and a self-taught welder for over 30 years.
Jerry had the intuitiveness of an engineer and the ability to figure anything out. He was also an auto mechanic who loved travelling, listening to music, dancing, and playing the slot machines. There was nothing more he enjoyed than spending time with his family, especially his daughters.
He will be truly missed.
Survivors include his daughters, Markisha and Eboni Eldridge-Jordan, Julia Jordan; brothers, James (Cheryl), Franklin, Michael, Rodney (Lorelynn), Kevin, Chris Jordan, and Mario (Seng) Adams; sisters, Karla Adams, Darlene and Gwendolyn Jordan; grandchildren, Javion, Cortez, Beet, Mariah, Laveah, Ben, Carter, and Markis; step-father, Mario (Mattie) Adams, numerous nieces and nephews, and several other loving family and friends.
Predeceased by his daughter, Tamika Eldridge-Jordan, parents, and brother, Charles Wesley Jordan.
Visitation 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be submitted at fitzgeraldfh.com.
