Jennifer V. Nguyen

Jennifer V. Nguyen, 25, of Rockford, passed away June 29, 2017 from lupus complications at UW Madison Hospital.
Born in Chicago, IL on January 8, 1992, the daughter of Anthony Hiep Nguyen & Kim-Hue Thi Ngo. She graduated from Auburn High School, then later earning her Electrical Engineering degree at UW Madison. Jennifer worked for Alliant Energy Company and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed art, Harry Potter, her dog Theo, video games, but most of all she loved to talk and socialize with her family and friends. As Jennifer best describes herself, she’s “hyper, goofy, and slightly a dork. Do you need to know any more than that?”
She is survived by her mother Kim-Hue Nguyen; sister Jasmine (Brian) Jereza; grandparents Luong and Nguyet Ngo; aunts and uncles Tuyen (Le) Ngo, Kim-Lan (Lith) Urai, Tuan (Alisia) Ngo, and Thomas (Melissa) Ngo; numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her great- grandparents.
Funeral mass will be 11 A.M. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4407 Highcrest Rd, Rockford, IL 61107. Visitation will be between 5-8 P.M. Friday, July 7, 2017 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, and from 10 A.M. until time of mass Saturday at church. Burial will be at 10 A.M. Monday, July 10, 2017 at Calvary Cemetery, 8616 W State Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for a future donation to the Lupus Foundation of America.
