Jenna C. Martin

Jenna Christine Martin, 38, Machesney Park, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011, in University of Wisconsin Medical Center in Madison, Wis. following a courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was born March 31, 1973, in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Vickie (Peak) Martin.Jenna lived in the Rockford area most of her life.She was a sales representative for the Wirtz Beverage Company for over 10 years.Jenna had great knowledge about wines and truly had a passion for her job.She enjoyed gardening, riding on the Harley, fishing and loved spending time with her children.Survived by her fianca©, Erik Johnson;children, Devin Martin, Gabrielle and Magnus Johnson; grandson, Zane Utley; father, Charles (Debbie Bambino) Martin and her mother, Vickie Peak Martin; brother, Nathan Martin and sister Lisa Caldwell; Eriks GrandparentsJohn and Eleanor Johnson, Father in law, Kurt Johnson (Ronda Piercenumerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of the Rockford area, including special friends, Jody Estes Schultz (cousin) and Leslie Orlando. Predeceased by her grandson, Kayden Utley, maternal and paternal grandparents, and her uncle, Chuck Peak. Special thanks to Jennas Fight Club and coworkers for all of their love and support.Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday, August 26, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Av. with her cousin, Reverend Michael Calacci officiating.Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00 pm., Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the funeral home and again one hour prior to time of service on Friday.A memorial will be established at a later date.
