Jeffrey A. Beckett

Jeffrey “Jeff” Allen Beckett, 62, of Rockford, passed away on October 11, 2024. He was born on September 25, 1962, in Rockford, the son of Ralph and Karen (Irwin) Beckett. Jeff earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from UW Whitewater. He had a passion for painting and watching the Indy 500 races. Jeff took immaculate care of his yard and house, which he was extremely proud of. He held a special bond with his niece, Kayla.

He is survived by his parents, Ralph and Karen; sisters, Barbara (Mark) Lundy and Lisa (Richard) Bundy; niece, Kayla Lundy; best friend, Jeff Chaussee; Uncles, Ronald (Jan) Beckett and Robert (Sheila) Beckett; and cousin, Jason (Dawn) Beckett. He is predeceased by his maternal and fraternal grandparents.

A Funeral Mass will be on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Road Rockford, IL 61107, with a visitation prior to Mass starting at 10:00 a.m. A luncheon will be held at the church following Mass. Private graveside service will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carpenters Place or GlioblastomaFoundation.org
