Jeanette C. Dietzman

Jeanette C. Dietzman, 92, of Rockford went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 6, 2014 in her home. Born November 17, 1922, in Rockford, the daughter of Frank M. and Mable M. (Holly) Feierday. She married Wallace M. Webster in 1952; he predeceased her in 1960. She then married Gerald E. Dietzman in 1963 and he passed in 1975. Jeanette worked at Pierce Packaging for 20 years, retiring in 1991. She was a member at The Dwelling Place Church and also the Ladies VFW Auxiliary, Ross Pearson Post. Jeanette enjoyed working crossword puzzles, coin collecting and playing Pinochle. The Dietzman Family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Khan, Jeff, Tonya, Tammy and the entire staff at OSF Center for Cancer Care as well as Andrew in Valet Services at OSF. They would also like to extend their gratitude to Tara and the entire staff at Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care.
Survived by her daughters, Donna (Rodger) Peters, Carol (JoAnn) Webster, Vicki (Mark) Dutenhafer; grandchildren, Brian (Annette) Ahlgren, Bradley (Lisa) Ahlgren, Joseph Peters and Jodie Peters; great-grandchildren, Jason Ahlgren, Jessica Ahlgren, Bethany White, Kristie Peters, Kaylee Ahlgren and Jonathan Ahlgren; great great-grandson, Carmichael “CJ” White; sister-in-law, Ruby Feierday and best friends, Joyce Johnson, Carmella Maffei and Karen Denolf. Predeceased by her parents, brothers, Frank Howard Feierday and Loren Holly Feierday.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at The Dwelling Place, 1559 South Mulford Road, with Pastor Luis Marquez officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Dwelling Place.
