Jean K. Kozminski, 78, passed away on September 26, 2020. Born on May 9, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan she was daughter to Anton and Katherine (Dutkewicz) Serafin. She married the perfect match for her strong willed personality, Robert Kozminski on June 16, 1962. She took pride in being a ‘domestic goddess’ at home, it was one of her favorite places to be. She enjoyed watching a variety of movies, TV shows and watching her family grow up. She was very proud of her grandchildren, particularly pleased with her grandson joining the United States Marine Corp.
She will be missed by those who loved her most, her daughters Dawn (Frank) Klug and Tammy (Chris) Moskal; her grandchildren Valerie (Chris) Pokornowski, Jessica (Dominic) Cianfrini, Kyle Klug, Jeanmarie (Jesse) Johnson and Eric (Jerrica) Moskal; her great-grandchildren Owen and Emmett Johnson, Gideon and Felix Moskal. A very special thank you to Heartland Hospice’s Stacy Taylor and Natalie for the care and understanding that they gave to Jean. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 53 years, her son Robert Kozminski, her parents and sister, Rose.
Cremation rites have been accorded with Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. To send online condolences, please visit www.fitzgeraldfh.com
