Janis M. Kulm

Janis M. Kulm, 74, of Loves Park, IL passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

Janis was born in Chicago, IL on January 15, 1948, daughter of Leon and Constance (Piaskowski) Swierczynski. She graduated from high school and later worked many dedicated years in customer service for Zenith and Lobster Gram Inc. Janis was very active in bowling during her younger years. She had a passion for all things Star Wars and Elvis Presley. Janis loved cooking and catching up with her 2 best friends, Mary Ann and Cheryl. Most of all, she cherished her time spent with family and loved ones. Janis, her beautiful smile and outstanding personality will be dearly missed.

Surviving relatives include her son, Leon Mann; grandchildren, Devon, Mackenzie and Hunter; brother, Matt (Shirley) Slesicki; nieces, Kathi, Karen and nephew, Michael. Janis is predeceased by her parents.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until time of service, located at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S Mulford Rd.
