Janet M. Heid

Janet Heid Beloved Mother and Friend   Janet Heid of Rockford, died Sunday, May 11, 2008 in Madison, WI. Born in Chicago the daughter of Paul and Edith Ross. Worked at Hamilton-Sundstrand for 21 years as a cost accountant. Janet was widely known for being a long time breeder of champion Yorkshire Terriers. She belonged to the American Kennel Club, Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and Rockford-Freeport Illinois Kennel Club. She was very proud to be an exhibitor at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.  Janet was also a member of First Baptist Church,  an avid gardener and loved to travel. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to University of Wisconsin Hospital, Madison and Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospice Care Center in Fitchburg, WI. Survivors include her daughters, Sue (Steve) Burgess of Montana and Shari Heid of Colorado and many special friends.   Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd with Pastor Scott Williquette officiating. Interment in Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
