Janet M. Edwards

Janet M. Edwards, 74, of Loves Park passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in her home. Born October 10, 1943, in Pontiac, Illinois, the daughter of Vincent and Mildren (Wiehle) Pellouchoud. Janet married George Edwards on July 31, 1965 in Dwight, Illinois. Janet was a state surveyor for the Illinois Department of Public Health, retiring after 18 years on December 31, 2006. Janet was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Bridget Parish. She volunteered with OSF Hospice. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survived by her husband, George; daughter, Deborah (Derek) Anderson; grandchildren, Jordan Anderson and Matthew Anderson; siblings, Pat (Michael) Yurkowski, David (Debbie) Pellouchoud and Bob (Brenda) Pellouchoud. Predeceased by her parents.
Funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Bridget Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday. Private family burial in South Side Cemetery in Pontiac, Illinois. Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, assisted the family.
