Jane (Webster) Wallace
Jane (Webster) Wallace 89 of Rockford passed away Sunday October 25, 2009 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was born April 15, 1920, Daughter of Harold and Sigrid Webster of Brule, Wisconsin. They came to Rockford in 1950.
She married Ward Wallace on October 14, 1972. She received her B.E. Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Superior and an M.E. from Rockford College. She taught at Summerdale and Riverdahl Elementary Schools. Jane Served for 10 years as a consultant in the Elementary Music Department retired in 1977.
She was a member and ruling elder of First Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Adult Choir for many years. Past member of board of Rockford Day Nursery. Member of P.E.O. Sisterhood Chapter FV.
Enjoyed golf, a member of Ingersoll and former member of Macktown Womens Golf Leagues.
Survived by her husband Ward, Step-daughter Diane(Herman) Klemick of Coral Gables, FL. Step-son; Thomas (Kerri) Wallace of Deerfield, IL. Grand-daughters; Heather (Albert) Ventura and Samantha Klemick. Grandsons; Eric, Brett and Dillon Wallace. Brother Neil Webster of Rockford. Niece; Jill Webster and Nephew; Kim Webster. Predeceased by her parents.
Memorial Service Wednesday October 28, 2009 at 2pm in Fitzgerald Funeral Home Riverside Chapel, with Pastor Bob Hillenbrand officiating. Private family Burial. Visitation from 12pm until 2pm Wednesday in the funeral home. Extend online condolences at: www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
