Jamey And Wendy Klein

Jamey and Wendy Klein born May 5, 1965 and March 11, 1967 went on home to many loved ones who were waiting with open arms on July 1st 2022. Husband and wife of 34 years married on May 7, 1988. Jamey and Wendy were high school sweethearts who were together 41 years, introduced by Jamey's best friend and Wendy's sister. Jamey and Wendy were one of a kind and the love they shared was once in a lifetime. If you saw one of them you knew the other wasn't far behind and even though they could argue about the color of the sky they always knew they were each other’s person, the fuel to each other's fire and love of each other's lives. Jamey was a journeyman carpenter building a lot of things in the Rockford and surrounding areas and is one of the best who has ever done it passing his knowledge on to his son, Blaze and any man willing to learn. Jamey was also an amazing artist spending his younger years giving and getting many tattoos, it was a passion of his. He also loved his garden and had a amazing green thumb. Wendy was a “Jackie” of all trades and a mom working in factories as a waitress in many restaurants an amazing caregiver and an avid scraper. Wendy could see value in everything even when most folks saw none. She loved her plants and wind chimes and anything antique. They both loved their pets, feeding the birds and squirrels and everything to do with nature. Watching their Viking shows and listening to music. Jamey and Wendy were loving parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle and Mama Wendy and Kaw Kaw to any child that needed some "lovins" but, the lights of their lives were their grand babies, Camari and Izaiah Tilson. Between going fishing to the park, to the movies, to sleepover with forts they brought light to their eyes and through any hardships it never took away from the love they showed them or anyone. To the Kleins it didn't matter who you were or where you’re from we are just people trying to get by. The love they had for each other, and others couldn't be measured in this lifetime and still goes far beyond our sight. And though this world will not be as bright without them, there will always be sunshine after the rain. Music was the soundtrack to their lives, and they didn't live without it singing, laughing, dancing and probably a little yelling an cussing is what got them threw the darkest times. Jamey and Wendy were real, didn't sugar coat or beat around the bush they weren't afraid to tell you how far they had come and if you had time to listen, they would tell you some of the wild rides they took in this life. Their love had no limits even in death they did not part and one day we will all see them on the other side.
Jamey and Wendy are survived by their children, Blaze Klein , Kali Klein (Rondell Tilson); grandchildren, Camari and Izaiah Tilson and many beloved nieces and nephews and loved ones far too many to name.
Jamey is also survived by his mother, Margaret "muggsy" Erickson; sisters, Erica(Shane) Ferguson, Anita (Ron) Heit; brothers, Derek (Sally)Erickson, Ricky (Tammy) Erickson and more. He is predeceased by his loving grandma, Peggy Dunbar; father's, Duke Erickson and Bruce Quam and brother, Wade Quam and many more loved ones.
Wendy is survived by her mother, Carolyn Wright; sister, Roxanne Wright and Sherri Boyd and many aunt's and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Raymond Wright; her loving grandparents and many more loved ones.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date the family will notify via Facebook soon so please join them for one last bash with the Klein's .
