James (Jimmy) Michael Mercer-Hoffman 24 of Rockford passed away Wednesday November 13, 2013. James was born June 8, 1989 in Rockford, the son of James and Sheila Hoffman. James attended Guilford High School and worked for Rockford Foundries. He was an avid fisherman and big Bears fan. The family wishes to thank Rockford Foundries, Bill Doran and Cherry Blossom for their love and support.
Survivors include his parents James and Sheila. Sister; Melissa (Dana) Apel. Best Friend; Eric John. Grandfathers; Larry Watson and Frank Stokes. Uncles and Aunts; Mike (Duffy) Hoffman, Mel Higgins, Leilah (Fritz) Cox of WI, Virginia (Ramon) Perez, Alice (Joe) Veroni, Johnny (My Tri) Northrop, Frankie Northrop, Michael (Courtney) Stokes, Chris (Annette) Watson of TN and Debbie Scott. Also many more relatives and friends, way too many to mention. Predeceased by his grandmothers; Leila Stokes and Irene Hoffman. Cousins, Jim and Jer Higgins.
Funeral Service at 1pm Monday November 18, 2013 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 N. Rockton Ave with Reverend Randy young officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
