James "Jim" W. Friemuth

James “Jim” W. Friemuth, 76, Machesney Park, passed away Monday, February 18, 2019, in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born September 12, 1942, in Harvard, the son of Warner and Thelma (Melquist) Friemuth. Jim married Judy Sorensen on April 21, 1965. He was a heavy equipment mechanic at Adams Equipment for 42 years. Jim was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was an avid Bears and Cubs fan.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy; his children, Jeff Friemuth, Julie (James) Daubert, and Jennifer (Drew) Wilson; his grandchildren, Colton (Kelsey) Friemuth, Katie (Eric) Friemuth, Jenna and Jakeb Arends, Alex and Max Wilson; his great grandson, Ezra Lewis and a great granddaughter on the way. Predeceased by 2 granddaughters, Chloe and Madison Wilson.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford with Reverend Frank Ciprys officiating. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Share online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com
