James "Jim" Mosby

James F. Mosby, 79, of Rockford formerly of Huntley, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was born on November 11, 1937 in Owensville, IN, the son of James and Henrietta (Zink) Mosby. He married Carol on October 8, 1977. He had a B.S. and PhD from Purdue University as well as a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago. He was a Chemical Engineer with Amoco Oil. Jim enjoyed reading, wood working, his dogs, and traveling with his wife.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Mosby; his step-son, Gary Hunt; and sister, Judith Bretney. He is predeceased by his parents and sister Sherilyn Nay.
