James Haws, Jr.

James Haws Jr., 54 of Stillman Valley, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born July 15, 1961 in Rockford the son of James and Bernice Haws, Sr. Married his wife Sonya Anderson. Jim loved farming, animals and Chana Sale Barn. Jim helped many peop0le whether it would be time, shelter, support or friendship. He loved life and fought to survive. Any mistakes he made in his life, he made up for with his generosity. Jim will forever be missed and will be remembered by many. Love you most. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to his family and friends that have helped and been there these past few months.
Survivors include his wife, Sonya; son, James “Kenny” Haws; daughter, Jessica Haws; mother, Bernice Haws and sisters, Sharon Holbrook, Cindy Haws and Linda Gregory. He was preceded in death by is father and brother, Kim Haws.
Funeral Mass Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Byron, 220 E. 2nd St. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford. Visitation continues on Saturday at church from 10 a.m. until time of prayer at 10: 45 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family.
