JAMES F. JIMVESELY, 76, Rockford, died at 1:43 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2007 in his home, surrounded by his loving family.nbsp; Born June 21, 1930 in Rockford, son of Francis W. and Mary E. Buchanan Vesely.nbsp; Graduated from North Phoenix High School in 1947.nbsp; Married Joan A. White in Rockford at St. Bridget Catholic Church on June 6, 1954.nbsp; Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Employed for 28 years by the City of Rockford Police Departmentnbsp; as a Detective in the Identification Bureau.nbsp; He retired from there in 1980.nbsp; He spent the following 10 years employed by the Winnebago County Sheriffs Department as a baliff. Jim was a hard working and honest man with a great sense of humor. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.nbsp; Most of all, he was a wonderful husband and father and always a good friend to all.nbsp; nbsp; Survivors include his wife, Joan; children, Bill (Cindy) Vesely, Rockford, Mike Vesely (Nancy Clemens) , Santa Cruz, CA, Steve (Brenda) Vesely, Rockford and Rebecca Collier (James Wilson), Rockford; grandchildren, Lance Vesely (Shelby Brewer), Erin Vesely, Bobby Vesely (Stephanie Moe) and Reva Collier.nbsp; Also, survived by his sisters, Dorothy Pantner, Boise, ID, Midge Hall, Phoenix, AZ. and Florence (Orlon) Nannestead, Phoenix, AZ. and numerous special nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents; brothers, Kenneth (Neva) Vesely, Jack (Pat) Vesely and infant brother,Bobby; sister, Reva (Warren) Halley and infant sister Sandy. nbsp; A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007 in St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Rev. William R. Wentink officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
