James B. Hudzinski 64 of Rockton passed away Sunday July 24, 2016 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 20, 1951 in Rockford, the son of John and Eileen Hudzinski. He married Anne Marie Roper at Christ the Teacher Chapel in DeKalb on October 25, 1975. He graduated from Rock Valley College and attended NIU. Jim worked for Jewel Foods for 25 years, Country Fair IGA for 10 years and Walmart for 19 years. Lifetime member of St Stanislaus Church, Holy Name society, Knights of Columbus and was named man of the year at St Stanislaus in 1997. He was ordained a Deacon on May 2, 1998. He was on the parish council. Started the adoration at St Stanislaus. He also did the decorating for holidays and special occasions for over 20 years. He was also the CCD Director.
Survivors include his wife Anne. Children; James Paul (Michelle) Hudzinski, Nicholas John (Amanda) Hudzinski. Grandchildren; Ethan, Nolan and Sophie. Sister; Beverly (Jim Robertson) Sullivan. Brother; John (Madeline) Hudzinski. Preceded in death by John and Eileen hudzinski and brother David Hudzinski and niece Thresa

Funeral Mass at 11am Friday July 29, 2016 in St Stanislaus Church. Visitation from 4pm until 7pm Thursday July 28 in St Stanislaus Church. Visitation also from 10am until 10:45 Friday in the church.
