Jacqueline Lythgoe

Jacqueline H. Lythgoe, 92, of Rockford died Saturday, January 28, 2012. Born May 26, 1919 in Pineuilh Gironde, France, the daughter of Antoine and Yvonne de Rocquigny du Fayel. Arrived in New York on March 21, 1946 and married Harry M. Lythgoe in Chester, PA. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Holy Familys Womens Guild and the Catholic Womens League. She was a kind and compassionate woman.Survivors include son, Kenneth (Jean) Lythgoe; daughter, Colette (Kenneth) Carner and granddaughter, Mary Lythgoe, all of Rockford; brotherinlaw, Jack Lythgoe; brother, Gerard de Rocquigny du Fayel and sisters, Alice Boudin and Genevieve Delarue of France; nieces and nephews in France and Pennsylvania and best friend, Arlene Carner. Predeceased by husband, Harry, son, Daniel and granddaughter, Karen Lythgoe.Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the Family.
