JACQUELINE L. "JACKIE" ZADEK LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, AND GRANDMOTHER Jacqueline L. "Jackie" Zadek, 68, of Rockford, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2008 at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center surrounded by her family. Born on August 13, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Wilburd and Dorothy (Lucas) Braun. She married Robert L. Zadek on April 29, 1961 in Festus, Missouri. Jackie was a member at Holy Family Catholic Church, and the Welcoming Committee, Catholic Charities, Bereavement Committee, and Knights of Columbus Auxiliary at the church. She was also a member of Auxiliary of American Legion, Den Mother for Cub Scouts, Playground Monitor at Brookview School, Members of Chicago Symphony, Cotillion Club, and the Milwaukee Art Museum. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Braun; husband, Robert; daughter, Pamela (David) Wise; grandchildren, Samantha and Emma; son, Robert (Melissa) Zadek, Jr.; grandchildren, Robert and Kamilla; and her faithful companion, Jaza. Predeceased by her father, Wilburd Braun. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd., with Rev. Andrew C. Hougan officiating. Visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial fund to be established at a later date. To
