Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Montana

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lou Montana, 88, Rockford, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2021, in her home. She was born October 22, 1932, in Davis, the daughter of Clarence and Cleone (Afflerbaugh) Erb. Jackie married Thomas J. Montana in Rockford on October 21, 1950. He passed away on August 16, 2015. She worked in the business office at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center for over 40 years retiring as the manager. She enjoyed fishing and horseback riding. Jackie owned horses for many years. She enjoyed many years at her lake home in Elkhorn, WI.
Survived by her daughter, Roxanne (Michael) Reese of Roscoe; her grandson, Chad (Hillory) Reese of Roscoe and their children, Colin and Caiden; her granddaughter, Amy (Derek) Donahue of Aurora, and their daughter, Emma; her sister, Geraldine Riley of McKinleyville, CA; her sister-in-law, Donna Erb; many nieces and nephews including Tom Montana. Special thanks to the doctors and staff at OSF Hospice for their kind and compassionate care, to her devoted caregiver and friend, Marisa, and to her special neighbors, Marge and Colleen. Predeceased by her husband, Tom and her brother, Robert Erb.
Private graveside services will be held at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Darren Loeppky of OSF Hospice Care officiating. Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory assisted the family. To honor the family’s wishes, please do not send flowers.
