Isauro J. Ramirez

Isauro J. Ramirez, 66, of Rockford passed away on November 15, 2008 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Isauro was born January 19, 1942 in Mexico, the son of Nivardo and Asuncion (Jaime) Ramirez. Isauro married Margaret A. Akam in Rockford on April 16, 1975.   Isauro worked as a machine operator for Hennig Inc. in Rockford for almost 30 years.  He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Clubs, Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, and Huejuquilla de Chicago. Isauro was very talented and enjoyed home remodeling. He loved helping his family with home projects and was the foundation of the entire Ramirez family.   Isauro is survived by his wife Margaret; his children, Reyna (Jose) Sayavedra and Mariaelena Ramirez; his grandchildren Valeria, Marisabel and Joseph Sayavedra and Mauricio and Jesse Ramirez; his mother, Asuncion Ramirez; his brothers and sisters, Refugio Ramirez, Maria Perez, Rafaela Ramirez Viuda de Vargas, Amada (Natividad) Munoz, Juan (Leticia) Ramirez, Benigna (Rodrigo) Pinto, Jose (Ma Del Refugio) Ramirez, and Leticia (Manuel) Cruz; his sister-in-law Martha Ramirez and many nieces, nephews and dear close friends. Isauro was predeceased by his father, his brother Gustavo Ramirez and his nephew, Gamaliel Ramirez.   Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick Church, 2505 School St., Rockford, with Rev. Ricardo Hernandez officiating.  Burial will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19 from 5 8 P.M. and on Thursday, November 20 from 5 9 P.M. (with a Rosary at 7 P.M.) at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.  Family and friends may
