Isabelle R. Schwindaman

Isabelle R. Schwindaman, 98, Rockford, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Wesley Willows Retirement Center. Born November 11, 1914 in Bovy, MN, daughter of Joseph and Mary (DiPinto) Coppoletti. She had lived in Rockford most of her life. She formerly had owned the Jay-Don Company and had worked at Sentry Drug for several years. Isabelle was a long time member of St. Patrick Church and was a very giving person who often cared for others. She enjoyed music and loved playing her guitar and doing crafts. She grew beautiful flowers in her yard and always willingly shared them with others.

Survivors include her son, Michael Schwindaman; sister, Josephine Nelson, Farmer City, IL; numerous nieces and nephews, which includes her niece, Carole (Nick) Carbone of Rockford; special friends, Joann Dill and Max and Pauline Ward of Rockford. Predeceased by her parents; 3 brothers, Tony, Sam and John Coppoletti; sister, Helen Tangorra; very special friend, Jules Petit as well as many other good friends. Isabelle's family and friends would like to thank VNA Hospice and the staff and all of her friends at Wesley Willows for their kind and loving care.

Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 in St. Patrick Church with Rev. Ricardo Hernandez officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
