Isa Maurine White, 92, of Loves Park, died October 26, 2014 after a short illness. Born in Ellsworth, Iowa, to Royce Ralph and Jessie Thompson Kessee on December 12, 1921, she lived in the Rockford area most of her life. She worked at Ingersolls, Illinois Bell, the Rockford Township Assessors Office, Shop'N'Save, and School Street Body Shop, and volunteered with the Girl Scouts, Phantom Regiment, and Severson Dells.
Maurine's life was her family. She is survived by her children, Marsha Stolberg, Linda (Roger) Jarrells, Ronald (Christine) White, and Gayle (Mark) Weber, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Pauline Zoe Polley. She is predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Royce Keesee, Jr. and Harold Keesee.
A memorial celebration of her life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 3910 North Rockton Ave., Rockford. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Severson Dells Nature Center, 8786 Montague Road, Rockford, Illinois 61102.
