Irving W. Kinsman

Irving W. Irv Kinsman, 89, of Rockford, died at 10:40 pm, Tuesday, July 17, 2007 in Springwood Nursing Home.nbsp; Born June 26, 1918 in Mineral Point, WI, the son of Henry and Ellen (Butteris) Kinsman.nbsp; He married Ruth Goninen on August 20, 1938 in Dubuque, IA. Veteran of WWII and charter member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.nbsp; Irving loved his country, and enjoyed golfing and traveling.nbsp; Survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth of Rockford;nbsp; children, Keith Kinsman of Durand, IL, Linda (Louis) True of Cherry Valley, and Donald (Christine) Kinsman of Rockford;nbsp; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.nbsp; Predeceased by parents; sister, Helen Johnson; brother, Harold Kinsman and grandson, Greg Kinsman. Memorial Service at 2:00 pm, Friday, July 20, 2007 in Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4055 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, with Reverend George David officiating. Interment in Scandinavian Cemetery at a later date.
