Irving "Irv" G. Wolf

Irving “Irv” G. Wolf, 85, Stillman Valley, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at Serenity House Hospice in Oregon. He was born March 24, 1940, in Garden Prairie, the son of Glen and Myrle (Nelson) Wolf. Irv was a graduate of Rockford East High School, class of 1958. He attended barber college in Peoria and served in the National Guard. Irv married Mary Dean in Dubuque, IA on March 29, 1971. Irv was a Rockford firefighter for 28 years serving a Driver Engineer. He was a longtime member of the SM & SF Club.

Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary; his sister, Judith (David) Sbragia; many nieces and nephews; his black Lab, “Xena” and his black cat, “Zippy the BB”.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford.
