Holly A. (Wehmeyer) Riley, 52, Rockford resident for most of her life, died at 2:02 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan. Born October 23, 1957 in Oregon, IL, daughter of Betty J. Myers Wehmeyer and Harold O. Wehmeyer. Former resident of Leaf River, where she graduated from high school in 1975. She had been employed at Growth Enterprises for several years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and loved to cook. She was also a big Cubs fan. The most important thing to Holly was her family, to which she always showed love and concern.

Survivors include her brother, David (Carol) Wehmeyer: sister, Karen (Jerry) Jones; nieces, Heidi Jones and Sarah Wehmeyer; nephews, Brandon Jones and Alex Wehmeyer and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends. Predeceased by her parents and grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Our Masters United Methodist Church with Rev. David Poust officiating.
