Herbert Beehler

Herbert C. Beehler, 91, of Rockford passed away January 6, 2012, at Alpine Fireside Nursing Home after a long illness.nbsp; Born September 12, 1920, in Oak Park, MN; the son of the late Albert Fredrick and Clara (Wolf) Beehler.nbsp; Herbert served in the U.S Army from 19421946.nbsp; He worked as a printing press mechanic at Publishers Equipment until retirement.nbsp; Herbert was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Jabos Square Dance Club. He enjoyed camping and bird watching.nbsp; Herbert married Nina I. Arenkiel June 21, 1946 Foley, MN.

Survivors include his daughters, Julie L. (Gary) Eads, Laureen S. Behling, Brenda Pix K. (Tom) Bunk, 8 grandchildren, Ryan (Michelle) Eads, Aaron (Aubrey) Eads, Robin (Scott) Bertram, David (Paula) Brown, Jeremy Behling, Andrew Bunk, Ian Bunk, Jessica (Troy) Poupard; 7 greatgrandchildren, Isaac, Aiden, Cameron Eads, Damon Brown, Jaden Behling, Christian and Wesley Poupard. nbsp;He was predeceased by his spouse, Nina, son, Kerby Lane Beehler, soninlaw Richard Behling and brother, Melvin Beehler. Funeral Service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rockford, IL 61108; with Pastor Richard W. Berg officiating.nbsp; Visitation will be from 68 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at the funeral home.nbsp; Burial will be in New Milford Cemetery.nbsp;
