Harry Lowe

Harry L. Lowe, 80 of Rockford, IL. passed away on Monday, May 03, 2021. He was born in Tazewell, TN., on September 18, 1940, the son of Robert and Bonnie (Trent) Lowe.

Harry, (A.K.A. "Hacksaw") loved the Lord and was affiliated with Lincolnwood Baptist Church in Rockford. He was a humble man with a huge heart whom was always happiest helping others. Harry loved his family and friends. He was an avid golfer, had a passion for horses, and enjoyed the tranquil aroma of fresh cut grass and hay while on the tractor mowing pastures. Harry cherished the memories of annual fishing trips of days gone by. He remained humbly thankful for both, the highs and lows of encountered valleys traveled through life's journey to that sacred place back home.

Harry is survived by his Children, Patricia (Larry) Bentley of Rockford, Peggy Smith of Rockford, Harry D., "Wayne" (Ellen) Lowe of Rockford, Robert L., "Bobby" (Tonya) Lowe of Rockford, beloved life partner, Linda Hamor; grandchildren, Kallum D. Lowe, Jason (Denae) Reeves, "little" Larry Bentley, Jeffery Holt, Pamala Holt, Jennifer Kilgore, Aimee Lowe, Haleigh Lowe, Makiya, Jazmine, and Julie Smith; 7-great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul and Emery Lowe, many beloved nieces and nephews; Special friends, Louise (Lones) Lowe, Evelyn Howard, Wes and Barb Lones, Linda Griese, Garland Parks, Al Parsons, Joey, Phillip, D, Shane, Charlie Clingon, Holly and Sheila Rippy, Gina, Marty and daughters, and so many others.

Harry is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Bonnie, daughter Sheila; sisters, Joy, Pauline, Geraldine, Anne; brothers, Claude, Eugene, Junior, brother-in laws, Carol and Roy Lones, son-in-law, Rob Smith; special friends, Mark Rude, Tony Steward, Freddie Robbins, Vaughn "Curley" Fitzgerald, Red Gordon, Clifford Reeves and others.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to daughter Peggy, and OSF Hospice.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of
Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory 1860 South Mulford Rd. Rockford, Illinois 61108.
