Harry G. Jenkins Harry G. Jenkins, 74, of Roscoe, passed from his earthly home on July 5, 2007. Harry was born September 5, 1932 in Burlington, Iowa the son of Harry Ghlee Jenkins and Ruth (Ramp). Harry married Marian (Cederna) June 16, 1956 in Waukegan, IL and had recently celebrated his 51st wedding anniversary. Harry has always been passionate about family and friends, modern design and architecture, airplanes and flying, cars and racing and boats and water. He received his pilots license at the age of 16 and is now soaring high. He was a graduate of Waukegan High School, Layton School of Arts in Milwaukee and had received his Masters of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. He had served in the army with the Atomic Energy Commission during the Korean War. Harry has touched the lives of many and will be remembered for his inspired artistic talent, gentleness, stories, and dedication to his family. Harry was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Harry will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife, Marian; his four daughters, Teri Jenkins, Jolyn (Tony) Fasula, Tani (Jeff) Getzelman and Jenee (Bruce) Wolfram; his seven grandchildren, Miranda and Alexandra Jenkins, Michael and Jason Fasula, Cameron, Cole and Cooper Wolfram and his sister-in-law Nancy (Don) Barth. Harry was preceded in death by his sister Mary Jane Ogilvie and his daughter Tina Lenore Jenkins. The family of Harry Jenkins would like to extend a special thank you to OSF Hospice Care. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 9th at 7 P.M. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave. with Rev. Msgr. Thomas E. Bales officiating. Memorial visitation will be on Monday from 5 7 P.M.in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
