Harold G. Axelson

Harold G. Axelson 78 of Winnebago died Monday February 8, 2010 in his home.  He was born in 1931 in Woodstock, IL to Harold and Dorothy Axelson.  Married May 24, 1958 to Colette (King).  Member of Labors Local 32.  He worked for Sjolstrom and Sons and Rockford Blacktop.  Farmed in WinnebagoSurvivors include his loving wife Colette.  Sons; Steve, Mike, Jim and Chris.  Daughters; Elizabeth and Celeste.  Twenty Grandchildren.  Two Brothers and Two sisters and many nieces and nephews, in-laws, family and friends.  Predeceased by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.Mass of Resurrection on Friday February 12, 2010 at 11:00am in St Marys Church, Pecatonica with Monsignor Robert Sweeney officiating.  Private family burial.  Visitation on Friday from 9am until 10am in Fitzgerald Funeral Home 3910 N.
