Harland V. Kenerson

Harland V. Joe Kenerson, 64, Rockford, died on Tuesday, January 22, 2008 in his home following a courageous battle with cancer.nbsp; Born December 10, 1943 in Rockford.nbsp; Graduated with honors from West High School in 1961. Married Faustine Fiorenza on February 3, 1968. Upon graduation he was employed as a letter carrier with the U.S. Postal Service, from which he retired after 42 years of devoted service. After retirement he was employed by Stewart Security, being assigned to the Rockford Public Library.nbsp; He loved reading, art, photography, the great outdoors and the Green Bay Packers. He leaves behind his loving wife, Faustine; daughter, Jodi (Michael) Cruz; son Keven andnbsp; cherished grandchildren, Kilee and Deven. Joes family is most grateful to all of our friends and family, special friends from the Rockford Post Office and Rockford Public Library, his doctors, nurses and physical and respiratory therapists, along with special friends, Alex and Dave Wehmeyer for their sincere love and support during this difficult time.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;
A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
