Gwendolyn K. Moody

Gwendolyn Kaye Moody, 67, passed away in her home on March 11, 2023, in Rockford, Illinois. Born in Piggott, Arkansas, on December 9, 1955 daughter to Leroy and Thelda (Parrish) Moody. Gwen spent over 25 years with Jonco Larson which subsequently became Blackhawk Industrial. Gwen was known to most enjoy the simplicities of life; she spent most of her time outdoors taking care of her yard and tending to her flowers and garden. She enjoyed photography, bike rides, bonfires and going on walks. Majority of her time was spent with her beloved children and grandchildren.

She will be missed by those who loved her most, her children Wesley (Camille) Hryszczuk and Heidi Hryszczuk; her grandchildren Skylyn, Gianni, Harmony and Livvy; her sister Sherry Farmer and nephew Christopher Parrish. She is predeceased by her son Timothy Hryszczuk and her parents Leroy and Thelda.

A celebration of Gwen’s life will take place on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Road, Rockford, Illinois 61103.
