Gregory ""Greg"" H. Clark, 60, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Born December 22, 1947; the son of Philip Clark and Margaret Clark. He married Phyllis D. Holmbeck in Rockford on September 13, 1969. Served in the United States Army. Greg was an attorney in the Rockford area for 33 years. He was well respected by everyone he came in contact with both professionally and personally. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying golfing, biking, fishing, gardening and hunting, but his greatest passion in life was his love for his grandchildren. Greg enjoyed classical music, he was a contributor and season ticket holder to the Rockford Symphony. He started the program that brought the sight impaired to the symphony. His survivors include his wife, Phyllis; daughters, Tracy M. (Barton) Henbest and Lisa D. Clark; grandchildren, Thomas B. Henbest and McKenna I. Henbest; brother, Michael (Paula Grueder) Clark; sister, Linda Clark; father, Philip (Marian) Clark; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Betty Holmbeck; sister-in-law, Barbara Sams; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and William Bainbridge; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Margaret I. Clark. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
