Gloria R. Squire

Gloria Ruff Squire passed away on April 25, 2013. She was born on December 5, 1924 in Johnstown, Pa. Gloria graduated from the Catherine Gibbs School in NYC and worked for Penn Electric. After marrying William Squire in 1946, she worked for the Marshall Plan. Gloria continued to work periodically for the DOD while raising her four children.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William; children, Mary, John, Elizabeth and George; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and sister, Anne Quirk.

Visitation from 3-4 pm on May 2, 2013 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m. To honor her love of children, memorials can be made to St. Jude or the Carrie Lynn Children's Center.
