GLENN UNDERWOOD, 80, Rockford, died at 4:45 P.M., Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in Amberwood Nursing Home after a long battle with Alzheimers.nbsp; Glenn was born May 12, 1926 in Bardwell, KY., son of Wilbur and Lavena Johnson Underwood.nbsp; He graduated from Bardwell High School in 1943.nbsp; Served in the U.S. Navy during WWII.nbsp; Worked for Chrysler Corp as a supervisor for more than 32 years.nbsp; He was an avid bowler and loved fishing and hunting.nbsp; Married Emma Ruth Turner on March 19, 1959. nbsp; He is survived by his loving family, including his wife, Ruth; sons, Glenn A. (Suzanne) Underwood, Cherry Valley and Brett J. (Kristin) Underwood, Kaukauna, WI; daughter Kari L. (Don Hanson) Underwood, Rockford; grandchildren, Chris, Sara, Matthew, Jaime, Jakob and Bailey Underwood and Eddie and Allison Olson; great granddaughter, Emma Grace Underwood; sisters, Reba Hamilton, Clinton Township, MI and Betty Alexander, Whittier CA. and sister-in-law, Verdis Underwood, Livermore, CA.nbsp; Predeceased by his parents, sister, Jean (Jim) Ramage and brother Forrest Underwood. nbsp; Funeral service at 11A.M. Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Pastor Dan Qualls, First Assembly of God Church, officiating.nbsp; Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.nbsp; Visitation from 6-8 P.M.
