Glenn "Toby" Demars

December 23, 1957 — September 7, 2017

Toby DeMars, 59, of Rockford passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Born December 23, 1957, in Rockford; the son of Kenneth and Elaine DeMars of Rockton, IL. Toby graduated in 1976 from Harlem High School. Employed by PCI Pharma Services for the past 12 years. Prior to that, employed by Warner Lambert for 23 years. He was a member of the Lombardi, Verdi, and Navy Club. An avid Green Bay Packers fan with a witty, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor. He enjoyed board games and excelled at Scrabble, Backgammon, and Yahtzee.

He is survived by his wife, Debbie L. (Severin); son, Kyle and Dalaiah Losee of Aurora, CO; daughter, Julie and Patrick Bentley of Loves Park; grandsons, Nickolas Poluyanskis and Jayden Spann; sister, Jennifer and husband, Bill Sabin; brothers, Ken and wife, Debbie, Dean and wife, Judi, Kevin and wife, Amy; 4 nieces; 7 nephews; and very special friend, Bridget Holm.

Visitation will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday, September 10, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, Rockford, with funeral service immediately following.
